How to train your chatbot on files

This guide will walk you through the process of adding new file sources to your chatbot. By following these steps, you can enhance your chatbot's knowledge base, ensuring it provides accurate and relevant responses to user queries.

Where can i find it?

From the main ChatLab administration page, select Chatbots in the main menu, click on selected chatbot, select Training, Files and Add new files.

How to add Files for scanning?

Select files: Click on the Select files button. You will be asked to enter a file or files that you want to add. You may choose up to 20 files at once.

How It Works

When you upload a file to your chatbot's knowledge base, Chatlab processes the document to extract relevant information. This data is then indexed and made available for the chatbot to reference when responding to user queries. Here’s a brief overview of the process:

  1. Upload: You upload the file through the Chatlab interface.
