How do the E-commerce plans differ from the general ChatLab plans?

E-commerce plans are built around one shop. Every plan connects to your store platform and includes AI Search over your catalogue, product cards with add to cart and order status. You pay for the size of the catalogue the assistant searches and for the number of conversations, not for a list of technical features. General plans are for businesses that do not sell from a catalogue.

What happens when my catalogue is bigger than the plan allows?

The assistant indexes products up to the plan limit. If you have more, add AI Search product packs: each pack adds 5,000 products for $29 a month and packs stack. A shop with 12,000 products on the Grow plan needs two packs. Store pages, FAQs and documents are not products and do not count against this limit.

Do my products use up training characters?

Accepted Answer

No. Products are indexed by AI Search and counted per item against the product limit of your plan: 100, 2,000, 5,000 or 20,000 products, plus any product packs. Training characters only count the text of everything else the assistant learns from - store pages about delivery and returns, FAQs, files and Q&As. A catalogue of 5,000 products with long descriptions uses zero training characters. Learn more

What is a chatbot response and how many conversations do I get?

Accepted Answer

A chatbot response is one reply of the assistant; what the customer writes is free. Each response uses one message credit on the base AI model, and advanced AI models use more than one credit per response. A shopping conversation has about 5 responses, so 2,400 responses on Start are roughly 480 conversations, 11,000 on Grow about 2,200 and 50,000 on Scale about 10,000. Which store platforms are supported?

Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shoper, Wix, BaseLinker, CS-Cart and Abicart, on every E-commerce plan including Free. Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop have a plugin or app that connects the store in a few clicks. Any other shop can be connected through a product feed or our API - write to us and we will size it together. See the integrations

Does the assistant know current stock and prices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stock, sizes, variants and prices are checked live in your store at the moment of the answer, so a customer never gets a sold-out item recommended. The catalogue index, which decides what the assistant can find, is refreshed automatically every day on every paid E-commerce plan, and you can refresh it on demand at any time.

I run several shops. Which plan do I need?

Each assistant is connected to one shop. Pick the plan that fits your main shop and add another shop as a $7 add-on for each additional store. The shops share one monthly pool of chatbot responses, counted per account. For more than a handful of shops or catalogues above 20,000 products, contact us for a custom setup.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. E-commerce Free connects your shop and searches the first 100 products with no card. Start and Grow come with a 7-day free trial of the full plan. Assistants on the Free plan are removed after 10 days without conversations.

Question 9

I already use the ChatLab WordPress or PrestaShop plugin. Are these the same plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When you connect a shop from the plugin you see the same E-commerce plans and prices. Accounts created for a shop stay in the E-commerce line, so you always upgrade or downgrade within these plans.

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes. Annual billing gives you two months free: Start costs $490 a year, Grow $950 and Scale $3,600.
