Corrections add a question, an incorrect answer, and the correct answer to your chatbot's knowledge base. They guide future replies; they do not edit past conversations or guarantee identical wording. First create your chatbot and review training basics and limits.
Two ways to add corrections
- Through Chatlogs - Review conversations and add corrections directly when you spot incorrect responses
- From the Training menu - Add or edit corrections manually in the Corrections section
Adding corrections through Chatlogs
Select your chatbot and click the Chatlogs tab to access conversation history.
Browse conversations using the filters (date range, ratings, search). Select a conversation to view its messages. When you find a bot response you want to correct, click the edit icon (small box with arrow) next to that response.
In the Add Correction modal:
- User question shows what the user asked (read-only)
- Model response shows the bot's original answer (read-only)
- Correct answer is where you type the improved response
Click Save Correction to save. The correction will be used to improve future responses.
Adding corrections from Training menu
Select your chatbot, go to the Training tab, then choose Corrections from the left sidebar.
Here you can:
- Click Add New Training: Correction.
- Enter User question, Corrected (invalid) response, and Correct answer. The question requires 5 to 3,000 characters; each answer field accepts up to 3,000 characters.
- Click Start Training and wait for the source to finish processing.
- To change an existing correction, click Edit, adjust the fields, and click Update. Use Delete to remove an obsolete correction.
Corrections added from Chatlogs will also appear in this list, showing "Correction sources" with the original conversation context.
Check the result
Open Training > Corrections to check the source status. Processing time varies; you can leave the page after the source has been accepted. When training completes, open Overview, start a fresh conversation, and ask the original question and a similar question. If the answer is still wrong, check for conflicting or outdated website, file, or Q&A sources and update those too.
